The average end balance of the top-10 participants was $104,314.18, which means that on average each of the robots increased the initial deposit more than tenfold - over the course of 2 months (the championship was held between November and December 2008).
The $40,000 first-place prize, sponsored by Forex Capital Market (FXCM) was won by the Liliput robot, created by the Bulgarian Kiril Kartunov.
