Sometimes the standard MQL Help is not very helpful. I will list here extended help and description of some of those functions and variables whose purpose has not been explained very well in the standard MQL Help files.

Point - the value of one pip (0.01 for xxxJPY pairs, 0.0001 for all other pairs).

OrderStopLoss() - returns the Stop Loss of the currently selected order as a quote, e.g. 1.2954

Note about extern parameters: Modifying an extern parameter "on the fly" (after the EA has been dropped onto the chart and is already working) will change that value inside the EA. This means that if the EA uses this value in the start() function the changes in this value will be picked up by the EA on the next tick.
