An excellent indicator showing the direction of the current trend. Green is up, red is down. Watch for flat lines - it might be a good idea to exit your position if you see them because trend may change at those times.

Some lagging occurs (as with most indicators), so works best for timeframes over 15 min.

Download the mq4 file. Depending on the browser you are using you might need to right-click the link below and select "Save ... As" from the menu. Save the downloaded file into the "experts\indicators" folder under your MT4 installation directory (MT4 should be installed under C:\Program Files by default). Fire up Meta Trader and look for the "Supertrend_cleared" icon in the Custom Indicators list in the Navigator window. The Navigator can be enabled from the View menu. Drop the icon onto a chart to see the indicator in action.
